Who is the course for?
These Level 7 vocational qualifications are designed for senior managers and leaders seeking to develop themselves as leaders and managers, who recognise they must satisfy various stakeholders and who want to invest in their own personal brand. They are looking to make the best use of resources, understand the need to innovate and optimise performance. They may also have to present arguments for change, construct business cases, lead change implementation and evaluate the impact of that change.
Course Entry Requirements
- Level 6 in business management
- Learner must be 19 years or older at the beginning of the course
- A basic English level may be required for this programme
Duration
Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership
- Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 600 hours
- Total Qualification Time (TQT): 800 hours
How is the Course Assessed?
The Center assesses all units within this qualification internally. Qualifications are referenced criterion, based on achieving all of the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a 'pass' for a unit, learners must provide evidence to show that they have met all of the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all of the evaluation criteria. The Assessor makes a judgement that the learners have met the assessment criteria successfully.
The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the overall achievement of the judgement of the learners has been achieved.
Course Progression
Once the course is successfully completed, the qualification allows learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study towards an MBA with advanced standing.
To receive the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, learners must obtain a minimum of 120 credits:

The learner will:
