Preparation course for the A1 Secure English Language Test (SELT)
This qualification is designed for beginners who have never studied the English language or basic understanding of it. The Learner will learn how to use basic words and asks questions at this level. also the learner learns new vocabulary, numbers, letters and verbs.
Who is the course for?
For every person who hopes to learn English this level is the first step. It is for beginners those who have never studied the language, or who have a very basic understanding of it.

How is the Course Assessed?
The Center assesses all units within this qualification internally. Qualifications are referenced criterion, based on achieving all of the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a 'pass' for a unit, learners must provide evidence to show that they have met all of the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all of the evaluation criteria. The Assessor makes a judgement that the learners have met the assessment criteria successfully.
The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the overall achievement of the judgement of the learners has been achieved.

Once the course is successfully completed, The Candidates may progress to:

The learner will be able to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
- Introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they have.
- Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
