Preparation course for the B1 Secure English Language Test (SELT)
This course is designed for intermediate learner who have completed basic English language test. This level will enable leaners to strengthen their ability to describe things and situations in the condition and past, to develop their writing skills and to improve their coherence. A learner gains more confidence and fluency in English language and feels like learner can communicate verbally more easily.
Who is the course for?
It is for Intermediates students who can learn individually.

- There is no specific requirement for this course. We recommend student have basic knowledge in English language.

- 2 - 3 weeks
How is the Course Assessed?
The Center assesses all units within this qualification internally. Qualifications are referenced criterion, based on achieving all of the specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a 'pass' for a unit, learners must provide evidence to show that they have met all of the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all of the evaluation criteria. The Assessor makes a judgement that the learners have met the assessment criteria successfully.
The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the overall achievement of the judgement of the learners has been achieved.

- Preparation course for the B2 Secure English Language Test (SELT)
The learner:
- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling
- Can produce simple connected text on familiar topics or of personal interest.
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
The learner
- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling.
- Can produce simple connected text on familiar topics or of personal interest.
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
